Since the release of the latest edition of the D&D core rulebooks in 2000, Wizards of the Coast has listened hard to the reviews, accolades, criticism, and other comments that the fans have contributed about these three books. The past two years have been filled with consumer feedback that has provided us with a wealth of information for making our books richer in depth and gameplay -- in short, more opportunity for every fan to enjoy the game a little more.
That's right, the book that sparked a revolution in fantasy gaming is receiving an upgrade, aimed at making it better than ever! Nicknamed "D&D 3.5," the revised core rulebooks are due for a July 2003 release.
